Avant-Garde Arts & Craft Show
To me, it is now officially Spring. Oh sure, the silly calendar says Spring arrives on March 20th, but the calendar is wrong. Spring happens the day it turns to March. So it is Spring.
I'll take the snow and cold from Nov. 1st through Feb. 28th. I'll even be generous and accept snow on the 29th in a leap year. But on March 1st:
Give. Me. Spring!!
This year, Winter didn't listen. I guess Mother Nature has a sense of humor.
To celebrate the arrival of this temperamental and fickle season, we are bringing out the Spring goods at the Avant-Garde Art & Crafts Show in Chagrin Falls March 10th & 11th.
We'll have plenty of our French rolling pins, biscuit cutters, Buttermilk Biscuit Mix, elderberry jelly and apple butter so you can spend your Spring mornings enjoying warm, homemade biscuits while you peruse the gardening catalogs, wishing the snow would go away.
And to help with your Spring cleaning, we're bringing our hand crafted laundry soap in two fresh scents: Lemongrass and Lavender.
If it's possible to be in love with laundry soap, then I am head-over-heels in love with ours. You only need one teaspoon to wash an entire load. Your clothes will come out clean and smelling lightly of freshness - not overly perfumed.
And we're bringing a bit of Summer sunshine with our Shibori dyed silk scarves, dyed using natural indigo. Each one is as unique as the talented local artists that made them for us.
So put the Chagrin Falls Avant-Garde Arts & Craft Show on your calendar for next weekend. Stop by and say hello. Winter hibernation is over!
