This hollow form vessel began as a maple burl - full of natural movement, grain, and character that can’t be replicated. Slowly turned by hand, it was shaped to reveal what was already there, each curve following the story hidden inside the wood.

It’s finished with a curly Ipe collar, topped with a smooth ebony lid and a delicate maple finial - small details that come together to create something quietly striking. Multiple coats of hand-applied finish bring out the depth and richness of the grain, giving it a soft, lasting sheen.
