Maple sugar is perfect for baking or in place of sugar in coffee and tea. We love it in oatmeal and yogurt and it is fabulous on warm buttered toast or our buttermilk biscuits. Press a little into bacon for a delicious, maple candied bacon. And you can never go wrong with a bit sprinkled over vanilla bean ice cream.
Maple sugar is 100% pure maple syrup boiled down and stirred until all that is left is the concentrated maple granules. There are no added preservatives or artificial flavorings added.
It can be substituted at a 1:1 ratio for sugar.
